Law of Karma – “Value Systems for Success”

 

The knowledge of the Truth dispels Bondage..

When youth is spent, where is lustful play? When water is evaporated, where is the lake? When wealth is gone, where are the dependents? When truth is known, where is worldly bondage?

 

Dreams appear very real to you as long as you are in the dream state. But when you cross the dream state and enter the waking state, the entire dream dissolves. All your dream suffering is gone. When you know the waking state, the dream has no reality. Similarly, once you know the Truth, this walking experience, which seems so real to you now, vanishes. All your miseries and worries are gone.

Therefore, once the Truth is known, where is the worldly bonding? All your difficulties have one cause – that is ignorance. There is one disease that is ignorance and there is one remedy that is knowledge. Knowledge of your Self, which is Pure Consciousness. Once you gain knowledge of the ‘Self’, there is no attachment and there is no suffering.

Ignorance of the Self manifests itself as Vasanas. When the vasanas have ended, the cause has been eliminated and, therefore, the effects cannot exist by themselves. The consequent delusory sense of individuality, arising from the myth of the mind and its dream objects, vanishes.
