Life is Fleeting, Desire is Flourishing..

Day and night, dusk and dawn, winter and spring come repeatedly. Time sports, life is fleeting. Yet one does not leave the gusts of desires!

Different seasons appear repeatedly. Day and night appear and disappear swiftly. Life is fleeting. Time marches on. It stops for no one. You go on procrastinating those activities that add value to your life, and attend to the hunger of your senses.

Before you realize it, you have grown from boy to youth to old age. Your life ebbs away and you have to helplessly leave this life leaving all your accumulated wealth and objects and painfully carry only the Vasanas and desires you have accumulated during this life of selfishness.

The plea of the master is to make you understand the urgency that time is fleeting, therefore, seek and realize Self – the essence of life!
