As the International film festival of India is all set for a colourful start this evening an unseemly controversy has erupted. Certain organisations claiming to represent the Hindu religion have come forward with the allegation that the inaugural movie in the Indian Panorama secton in the festival titled Elizabeth Ekadashi hurt their religious sentiments. Their main grievance is about the title of the movie which is directed by Marathi director Paresh Mokashi. The film which was cleared by the Censor board was selected by an eminent jury to the Indian panorama.
