It was end to end football at the Fatorda stadium in Goa.In a match that was international in standard hosts FC Goa gained three full points against an impressive FC Pune. The 2-0 scoreline doesnt tell the story entirely. It was much closer than thatas Pune gave Goa a real run for their money. The game started off in a terrific fashion for the hosts as they went ahead through Romeo in the 5 th minute. The game progressed at a frenetic pace and Pune was very much in the game till the dying minutes. In the end in the injury time Goa sealed the match through a fabulous goal by Miroslav Slepicka.
