Mammoottys kind hearted gesture gives hope to acid attack victim

Acid attack victim Lakshmi who is a native of Agra is seeing some ray of hope courtesy benevolence and goodwill of megastar Mammootty. The actor who happened to see the heartrending tale of Lakshmi in the well known television programme Sathyameva Jayathe anchored by Bollywood actor Aamir Khan sprung into action immediately. He contacted Jyothish Kumar the chief physician of Pathanjali hospital of which he is the director whether something could be done for Lakshmi. Aamir Khan was contacted and after a lot of efforts the youngster was located near Delhi. Lakshmi is an activist who works for women who suffered acid attacks. She has won the US International woman of courage. Lakshmi suffered a gory attack from someone who made a proposal to her at the age of 15. Acid was poured on her face and she was disfigured horribly. Now she may get redemption due to the timely intervention of Mammootty. Lakshmi will reach Pathanjali hospital Malappuram which specializes in burn related ailments this Sunday hoping for a new life. The 24 year old expressed her profound gratitude to Mammootty Aamir Khan and Oscar winner Resul Pookkutty who also played a part in the noble endeavour. Entire expense of the treatment will be borne by Mammootty.
