As the cricket and sports world struggle to come to grips with one of the greatest ever tragedies on the playing field in the form of the shocking death of Australian cricketer Phil Hughes fast bowler Sean Abbott who bowled that fatal bouncer is devastated. The New South Wales fast bowler was traumatised after the freaky incident.Abbot cried inconsolably when he visited the hospital in which Hughes was battling for life.Sources say that the young fast bowler had to be given counselling as he failed to come to terms with the tragedy. A host of cricketers including Ian BothamKevin PietersenGlen McgrathStuart ClarkNathan Lyon etc. have come out with statements in support of Abbott who inadvertently caused the injury and eventual death of Phil Hughes. Abbott who was returning to action after a lay off bowled a bouncer in the Sheffield Shield match between South Australia and New South Wales which hit a ducking Phil Hughes on the back of his neck which proved fatal.
