Distributors of rajinikanths lingaa to beg for compensation

Lingaa movie featured by Rajinkanth Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty in lead roles got into whirling protests from movie distributors and cinema hall owners who claimed the movie had a short run and suffered losses they asked the producers to refund the amount of Rs 35 crores and sought Rajinikanth s immediate intervention into the matter. ldquoWe distributed Lingaa with the faith that the film will do well. But the movie flopped and most small distributors and also cinema hall owners in various districts suffered huge losses. However the producer and initial distributors made profits of not less than Rs. 100 croresrdquo said Tiruchi and Tanjore distributor Singaravelan. The group of distributors speaking to media reports said if they don t get favourable response over their demands that sought to producers of the film and a response from the actor they would press for Mass Begging Protest in front of Rajinikanth residence in Chennai in next week. Distributors group alleges they were promised only 10 percent of their loss. And sought the actor s immediate response into current stalemate.
