Fake news about actor V. D. Rajappans health relatives to take legal action. Facebook whatsapp and other social media have of late become platforms to spread fake news about the demise or ill health of celebrities. Popular comedy artiste and parody king V. D. Rajappan also bore the brunt of this abominable trend. It was around six months ago that a fake news spread in social media that he was battling for his life and that there was nobody to look after him. There was a huge response to this post and comments abusing film organisations and superstars flooded the social media. In fact Rajappans family has reacted rather strongly against the news of his forlorn state and are now mulling legal action it is heard. The actor is suffering from ill health but not in the manner as is being portrayed. He is reportedly with his son in Kottayam and is undergoing treatment. Anyway social media misinformation activists have to be careful and it was only recently that some delinquent parties spread fake news about actor Salim Kumar. It may be recalled that his friend and actor Nadirsha had come down heavily against it.
