In the same Group A German club Wolfsburg beat CSKA Moscow 1-0 at home. City lost to Italian champions Juventus at home by a 2-1 margin after leading by a self goal scored by Georgeo Chiellini. Juventus equalised in the 70th minute through Mandzukic and Alvaro Morato scored the winner with nine minutes to go. Elsewhere Paris St Germaine beat Swedish club Malmo 2-0 at Paris with goals from Angel de Maria and Edinson Cavani while Europa League winners Seville playing at home beat B MGladbach of Germany 3-0. In Group C Benefica had the home advantage while beating Kazakistans Astana 2-0 while Atletico Madrid travelled to Turkey to register a win by similiar margin.
