CSK and RR avoid termination The working committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India met in Mumbai on Sunday and took a decision not to terminate the two suspended franchises Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. Instead the board will float fresh tenders inviting two franchises to take the place of the two suspended teams in the upcoming ninth edition of IPL. After CSK and RR serve out their suspension IPL will have 10 teams from 2018. As already reported PepsiCo has pulled out from IPL and Chinese mobile company Vivo will be the new sponsor.
