India beat South Africa at Chennai India beat South Africa by 35 runs in the fourth ODI at the Chepauk to tie the series at two matches all and set up an enthralling final match at Mumbai on the 25th. Winning the toss and batting first India scored 299 for 8 with Virat Kohli scoring a magnificent 138 in 140 balls. Suresh Raina and Ajinkya Rehane chipped in with scores of 53 and 48 respectively. India looked headed for a much bigger score but Dale Steyn and Rabada restricted the Indians with some very tight bowling in the death overs. Steyn had figures of 3 for 61 while Rabada returned figures of 3 for 54. South Africa found it difficult to score once Dhoni introduced the spinners and except when de Villiers was batting they never looked like reaching the target. De Villiers batted flamboyantly to hit 112 in 107 balls but except for Quinton de Kock at the start the rest failed and South Africa were dismissed for 265 runs with 3 overs to spare.
