New twist in Salman hit and run case that the victim died not due to Salman. In what could be termed as an extremely interesting twist to the hit and run case involving Bollywood actor Salman Khan the lawyers of the star have put forward an argument that the victim didnt die due to accident. Salman Khan was found guilty on May 6 where session court found him guilty and sentenced him for five years jail convicted under all charges. Two days later sentence was suspended on May 8th and bail was granted in cash of Rs 30000 in lieu of surety as a temporary measure. Now Salmans lawyer is arguing that the night of the accident the victim died not because of the actors car running over the victim but it was because of a crane that came down crashing the car. Justice A R Joshi heard the argument from Salman Khans lawyer Amit Desai. Desai said that the prosecution has not been able to prove conclusively that the death was due to the accident. The post-mortem of the deceased shows that he had crush injuries on his upper body as if something had fallen on him from above. The possibility that the death was caused due to the car falling from the hook of the crane cannot be excluded.It remains to be seen how things pan out for the superstar from hereon.
