North east united beat chennayin fc

North East United beat Chennayin FC North East United finally managed to collect their first points in the Hero Indian Super League when they beat ten-man Chennayin FC by two goals in an ill - tempered match at Gauhati which saw one red card and a host of yellows. The home team kept their fans on tender hooks and the two goals came in the closing stages of the match Simao scoring the first from a penalty in the 88th minute and Velez scoring the second three minutes into injury time. Besides North East also missed a penalty in the 38th minute when Edel Bete brilliantly saved Kamaras penalty stroke. Matarazzi rested both Mendoza and Elano at the start and introduced them late in the match while North East introduced their marquee player Simao Sabrosa also in the second half.
