Pune City beat Kerala Blasters in a thriller and go on top In a thrilling encounter in the Hero Indian Super League at Pune the home team registered a 3-2 victory over Kerala Blasters to go on top of the table after Keralas Mohammed Rafi had put Kerala ahead in the very first minute of the game. Nigerian striker Kalu Uche equalized in the 16th minute and then gave the lead to Pune in the 23rd minute only for Rafi to score again in the 30th minute to make it 2-2. But Pune had the final say when Turkish international Tuncay scored with a powerful header in the 72nd minute. With this win Pune overtake Chennayin FC and go to the top with 12 points while Kerala languish at the bottom with just 4 points from six games. The game started with a goal in the very first minute from Rafi who met Chris Dagnells cross and placed the ball past the goalkeeper. Nick Shoreys floater was met by Uche and headed home for Punes equalizer and the same combination was in action seven minutes later when storeys pass on a platter was met and tapped home by Uche. Rafi once again came to Keralas rescue when his header hit the post and trickled into the goal. It was 2-2 at the interval with everything to play for. The second half was interesting with both teams looking for the winner. In the 72nd minute it was Shorey who again turned provider when he went down the left wing and provided a perfect pass which was met by Tuncay who jumped high and guided the ball like a missile into the Kerala net.
