Sri lanka win colombo test and series

Sri Lanka win Colombo test and series West Indies raised hopes of victory to their fans in the morning when Shai Hope and Darren Bravo took the score to 80 without losing any wicket but at 80 Siriwardana a part time bowler and century maker in this test was asked to bowl and that was the sign for Hope to have a rush of blood. Eyes lit he charged down the wicket and heaved with all his might missed the line completely and was stumped by Kaushal Perera. What followed was pretty ordinary batting and with the exception of Bravo who scored 61 all others failed and the innings folded up for 171 runs Sri Lanka winning by 72 runs. Siriwardana took 3 for 25 and was declared the man of the match for his century and haul of 5 wickets. Rangana Herath who took 4 for 56 and was the chief destroyer was declared the man of the series. Having won the series 2-0 the Sobers-Tissera Trophy was presented to the Sri Lankan skipper Angelo Mathews by both the legends.
