Top ten players of CSK RR to be picked up directly by new IPL teams It was decided at a meeting between the BCCI and the IPL teams on Wednesday that five most valued players each from Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings the two banned franchises will be drafted directly into the two new teams as reported by ESPN Cricinfo. The ten players would be picked through a draft system from a pool of 50 with the remaining players going into the auction. At the meeting in Delhi the BCCI informed the franchises that they would finalise the terms and conditions for the bid document at the annual general meeting in Mumbai on November 9 and by the first half of December the two new franchises would be announced. Franchises were also told that the two new franchise owners would be picked from the reverse bidding process which means the investor who bids for the lowest share of the IPLs central revenue would get the ownership rights.
