Aamir Khan wants peoples recognition and not awards says his wife Kiran Rao. The Mr.Perfectionist of Bollywood Aamir Khan is known to be an advocate of quality than quantity.The actor who is known to act sparingly in movies has got a huge supporter in his wife and filmmaker Kiran Rao.Aamir Khan who is currently shooting for Dangal only longs for the audiences response to his movies not any award said her at the 17th Jio MAMI Film Festival in Mumbai Aamir always says it is the people who award me him and that I dont need anything else. Audiences reaction is most important for me... he says that all the time Kiran said here . Aamir is one actor who rarely goes to any awards event. His forthcoming movie Dangal will see him in the role of an ageing wrestler. He has put on lots of weight to portray the role but Kiran said he now has to lose the extra pounds to look young for a particular section in the film.
