City arsenal draw liverpool lose

City Arsenal draw Liverpool lose In a day of surprises in the English Premier League on Sunday both leaders Manchester City as well as Arsenal had to be contend with one point each while Jorgen Klopps Liverpool suffered their first defeat under him. City away at Villa Park were denied by a resolute bottom of the table Villa as well as some luck when Rahim Sterlings bullet header from point blank range hit a clueless Guzans head and deflected for a corner. Arsenal on the other hand were subdued most of the time at Emirates against Tottenham and were down at the break by a Harry Kane goal when he beat the off side trap and slotted past a desperate Peter Czech. Czech stopped the Spurs from increasing the lead in the 73nd minute when he made a world class save from a point blank header by Alderweireld. Wengers replacement of Campbell with Gibson in the 73rd minute looked inspirational as the sub managed to reach an Ozil cross beat Walker and slot the ball past Hugo Lloris for the equaliser. Arsenal were a different side after the goal and looked dangerous but on the form of the day the draw was a fair result and thats how it ended. At Anfield Jorgen Klopp suffered his first loss as Liverpool manager when Crystal Palace won 2-1 with goals from Bolasie who scored off a Zaha pass and Scot Dan with a header. Coutinho scored for Liverpool in a match dominated by the home side for most of the match with 22 shots at goal against 9 of Palace. The weekend results made no changes in the top half except for Liverpool who slid to the tenth spot while Palace climbed to the eighth place.
