FIFA presidentship is not for me says Cristiano Ronaldo The current Ballon dOr holder Cristiano Ronaldo has scoffed at the idea of becoming FIFA president after his playing days are over and sarcastically remarked that he is not smart enough indirectly referring to the bribery scandal. The Portuguese superstar was speaking at a function in London for the worlwide launch of Ronaldo a biographical movie about the superstar. He was joined by such luminaries as Sir Alex Ferguson Jose Mourinho Carlo Ancelotti Gary Neville and many more. Ronaldo was responding when asked about his future plans and specifically about the FIFA presidentship and the controversy surrounding Sepp Blatter and footballs governing body. The Swiss is a part of the movie for a very short duration of time specifically in the scenes when he gives away the Ballon dOr trophy during the award ceremony. Ronaldo felt that his remarks might influence some people and said he did not want to get involved at all. But he was very enthused about the movie saying that those who want to know the real Ronaldo will see him in the documentary. The film is made by the same crew who previously directed the documentaries on F1 legend Ayrton Senna and singer Amy Winehouse. The movie has been filmed over a period of 14 months which covers the duration after the Portuguese captain won the Ballon dOr for the third time. FIFA has been mired in controversy and Ronaldos response was hardly surprising as no one with integrity would like to be a part of such an association. The footballing icon said that at 30 he has a few more years left in him to play at the highest level and after that he has far more interesting things stored up than an administrative career in FIFA.
