India fight back after being dismissed for 202

India fight back after being dismissed for 202 Winning the toss and electing to bat India floundered against some very good South African bowling and were dismissed for 202 but fought back brilliantly to take 2 South African wickets conceding 28 runs. Murali Vijay batted very sensibly and compiled a patient 75 while both Poojari and Gaekwad made 30s but failed to capitalise on their starts. Dean Elgar and Imran Tahir bowled well on a spinner friendly wicket and took 4 and 2 wickets respectively. However it was Phillander who dismissed Dhawan for no score in the first over and after Vijay and Poojari added 63 for the second wicket Elgar dismissed Poojari and Rabada got his first wicket when Kohli drove him straight to cover to be caught. When South Africa began their second innings Kohli brought on Ashwin to bowl with the new ball and brought Gaekwad at the other end after 3 overs from Yadav. Both of them justified Kohli by taking a wicket each Ashwin by claiming van Zyl lbw for 5 and Gaekwad by bowling du Plessis neck and crop for zero. Amla and Elgar played out the remaining time and at close South Africa were 28 for 2 with Amla on 9 and Elgar on 13. Ashwin is looking ominously dangerous and an interesting days play lies ahead tomorrow.
