Popular director Anurag Kashyap says there is nothing called parallel cinema Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is known for his bruising movies which never hold back.He has no qualms in being brutally and covertly open about what he wants to convey.The director who bit the dust with his latest release Bombay Velvet recently opined that he didnt believe that there is something called parallel cinema.If you are saying parallel cinema that means you are saying that what is mainstream is only worthy of seeing and called cinema and what is not worthy of seeing is parallel cinema. I disagree with that. I believe they are all good cinemaThere is either a good film or there is a bad film said the acclaimed filmmaker.
