Shahrukh Khan says that he is not speaking out against religious intolerance fearing for his movies Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan made a scathing observation about the creeping intolerance in India.In an interview to a leading private television channel on the occasion of his 50 th birthday Shahrukh expressed shock at the manner in which public space has been vitiated by intolerance. Shahrukh Khan was forthright in his views and said that in the West opinions are respected but in India opinion is taken with a little more aggression if it doesnt agree with yours.He added that he is not speaking out because he is worried whether his films would get into trouble.Shahrukh Khan also made it clear that whoever takes a stand against creative people will face a huge backlash Shahrukh emphatically made it clear that religion cannot be defined by our meat-eating habits.Citing the example of his home he said that everyone is free to follow their religion.Shahrukh Khan added that his kids are confused about whether they are Muslim or Hindu.He asks why cant they be Christian. Religious intolerance or intolerance of any kind is the worst thing and will take us to the dark ages. Indians lose face over the questions that are asked.If you are a patriot you must love your country as a whole not parts of it as religions and regions said the hugely popular actor.
