Law of Karma - "Value Systems for Success"

Law of Karma – “Value Systems for Success”

The Policy of Profit

“Wearing deer skin” may be taken to mean “taking minimum from the world and giving the maximum service to the needy.” That is, following the maxim of maximum work and minimum profit. This aspect is more explicitly indicated by the worship of the bull in Hinduism. A bull slogs throughout the day; it ploughs in the fields and never demands anything. The owner provides hay and water for its survival; that is all. This manifested in our worship of the bull. However, Hindus get attached to the body of the bull, without understanding the underlying significance.

A man of true renunciation lives a life of dedication of service and sacrifice.

The Bhagavad Gita Chapter 6, Verse 1 gives the definition of a true yogi: “He who does his bounden duty without depending upon the result of action, he is a sanyasi (man of renunciation) and a yogi; not the one without fire (ideal) and not the one without action.

to be continued..
