The International Film Festival of Kerala is at the receiving end of a cyber attack it seems. The delegates who have registered for the prestigious event are receiving a spam mail in the name of the official IFFK site. The suspicious mail is in the form of a confirmation for the payment of delegate registration. The link for the badge ID is also part of the mail.If the recipient clicks in this linkthe virus could very well spread in the computer or mobile. A big banner of IFFK and the address given for delegate registration are given in the mailso as to make it believable. The mail has come from iffkdelegategmail.com. But the typical warning is displayed from Gmail that this mail may not be from the given id.The link to report phishing is also available. The IFFK authorities are taking steps on a warfooting to get to the root of the problem.
