Mohanlal s Kunjali Marakkar dropped says T. K. Rajeev Kumar. Veteran director T. K. Rajeev Kumar has said that the ambitious project on the life of historical figure Kunjali Marakkar with Mohanlal in the lead wont take place. During the inaugural ceremony of the recently concluded national games Mohanlal had performed as Kunjali Marakkar in a show directed by Rajeev Kumar raising hopes of a full fledged film . But now with the director himself clarifying the rumours will be put to rest. It may be noted that Amal Neerad had planned a movie with Mammootty and Prithviraj on the life of Kunjali Marakkar on a big budget scale but that too got shelved. Now it remains to be seen whether the project would take place at all
