Vijender Singh knocks out Dean Gillen in first round Indian pugilist Vijender Singh continued his winning form by knocking out Dean Gillen in the first round of his second professional bout at the National Stadium in Dublin Ireland on Saturday. Vijender in his second professional appearance faced some aggression from the Irish man at the beginning but quickly turned the tables and dropped him with a straight punch in the third minute. Gillen got up before referee counted ten but Vijender did not let up and with relentless jabs and a vicious right hook dropped him again this time for keeps as the referee completed the count before Gillen could get up. With this win Vijender has a 2-0 record in his professional career.
