Veteran filmmaker Kamal has lambasted fellow director Major Ravi for his alleged communal remarks in a religious conference. Kamal said that Major Ravi who made films based on patriotism should apologise to the people and film viewers. He also asked whether Major believed that Hindutva is his brand of patriotism. If that is the case he should think of omitting the word Major from his name. Because Indian patriotism is always based on secular values. Kamals statement comes in the wake of certain comments made by Major Ravi who allegedly said that he made films based on Hindutva.
