A.R.Rahman says that he is a conservative Muslim who is a rationalist in thought. Oscar winner A.R.Rahman has expressed his strong disapproval against the Fatwa issued against him by certain Muslim organizations.He said that the Majid Majeedi film that he composed songs for is not against the Prophet.He said that he took the decision in right spirit.He also added that he is a conservative Muslim in belief but is also a partial rationalist.A Mumbai based Muslim organisation issued the Fatwa against Rahman and the Iranian director Majid Majeedi for allegedly insulting the Prophet in the movie Mohammed the messenger of God.
